This sequence defines the number of

in a vertical or horizontal

increment. The values for

are expressed in either deci-

points or pixels depending on the setting of the SSU.

zero, the printer uses the respective spacing increment built into the

current font. For example, the following sequence sets the line height

to 120 decipoints (6 lines per inch) and character width to the spacing

of the current font:

Use this sequence to select a specific line spacing value.

Syntax: <ESC>[

Value of the vertical spacing increment (line height) in

the unit of measure defined by SSU.

Value of the horizontal spacing increment (space

width) in the unit of measure defined by SSU.

0 (default) 6 lines per inch (lpi),1 line = 1/6"

1 4 lines per inch (lpi),1 line = 1/4"

2 3 lines per inch (lpi),1 line = 1/3"

3 12 lines per inch (lpi),1 line = 1/12"

4 8 lines per inch (lpi),1 line = 1/8"
