This chapter provides information on the pedestal stand, CrownCopy

stand, the security key, and BuzzBox Lite options which are available

for purchase from your QMS vendor. See appendix A, “QMS Cus-

tomer Support,” for sales and support information.

The pedestal stand is a sturdy metal cabinet capable of supporting

the printer’s 106 lb (48 kg) weight. For aesthetics, it is the same color

as the printer, and for ease of use and flexibility in moving the printer,

it’s on rollers.

The packing materials that protect the pedestal stand during ship-

ment—cardboard, polystyrene, tape, and shipping spacers—must be

removed before you can use the unit.

Use the following procedure to unpack the pedestal stand.
