You must physically attach the Model 3100 Stacker to the face-up tray

slot on the QMS 2425/2425

. No electrical connections are

necessary and no maintenance is needed. Installation is as simple as

pushing the stacker up to the printer, changing a menu selection, and

printing.

1 Remove the face-up tray on the left side of the printer.

2 Unpack the QMS Model 3100 Stacker and check for the fol-

lowing:

 4 casters

 1 wrench

 alignment bar

 2 screws

 flat piece of letter or A4 size plastic

3 Remove all the shipping tape.

4 Screw the four casters into the bottom of the stacker and

tighten them with the supplied wrench.

5 If you are using a high-capacity input paper deck with your

printer, remove the two screws on the face of the left side of

the paper deck.
